AEROSPACE EDUCATION

Our Mission
A Civil Air Patrol Aerospace Education Officer is an officer serving in an aerospace education position at any level of CAP. For the purpose of promotion under the professional appointments method the aerospace education officer must also be fully certified as a professional educator (teacher, counselor, or administrator) by the state department of education in the member’s state of residence or have served as a college or university professor (full, associate or assistant) or other faculty member.

TEACHER MEMBERSHIPS
Cadets and senior members provide a wealth of talent that can be drawn on for many different projects and events. Teachers may join the CAP as Aerospace Education Members (AEM) and take advantage of many resources available through CAP, USAF, and NASA. Contact CAP for additional information about teacher's CAP AEM membership at aerospace education members link
and resources such as lessons plans can be found at training resources link
