Public Affairs Plans

Why a PA Plan?

CAPR 190-1 mandates every unit to prepare and follow a Public Affairs Plan. This must be written in 4-Step Planning Process format. This document will be used by unit inspectors when they evaluate each unit, and they will assess progress in each of the Plan's areas.

All Texas Wing units' PA Plans will be posted on this page.

PA Plans must be updated at least annually. Groups and squadrons will follow the same objectives as posted on the Texas Wing PA Plan, though they may add other objectives of their own.

In the case of squadrons, the Wing/Group training goals should be re-stated as "participation" on the part of the PAO, and "mentoring" of squadron members (both senior members and cadets).

Group PA Plans must be submitted to Texas Wing PA for approval.

Squadron PA Plans must be submitted to Texas Wing -- through their Group -- for approval.
