Who needs a CAP Drivers License?

Anyone who intends to drive a CAP vehicle, who is 21 years of age or older. CAP members under 21 may not drive CAP vehicles.

How do I get my CAP Driver's License?

To obtain a CAP Motor Vehicle Operator Identification Card CAPF 75 (CAP drivers license).

1. Fill out TXWGF 77-1 Attachment 1 Request for CAP Motor Vehicle Operator’s Permit. Include your phone number and e-mail on the 77-1 (A1)

2. Copy both the front and back of your Drivers License.

3. Obtain a copy of your driving record for the past three years.

   a. On-Line  at  https://www.texasonline.state.tx.us/tolapp/txldrcdr/TXDPSLicenseeManager

   b. At your local DPS office

   c. Some insurance companies will give you a copy for free if you ask.

4. All three items need to be sent to Wing via the Admin e-fax @ 866-867-6764 or the admin email address  admin@txwgcap.org. Once all three items are received by Wing, your CAP DL if approved will be mailed within 7 days of receipt.

Please purge all "OUTDATED" forms from your inventory as obsolete forms WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED by National Headquarters.


Please Send ALL Vehicle Reports to Admin E-fax: 1-866-867-6764 or scan and e-mail them to the Wing admin at admin@txwgcap.org. You should  check this web page at least monthly - if your report has been received, it will be listed under the Vehicle Report link above.
