Our Mission

Civil Air Patrol Member Services has one primary goal: Provide the best possible service to the exceptional and dedicated individuals that make up Texas Wing CAP. There are some very unique benefits that can be derived from CAP membership and from the emergency services activities. The publications and forms below will help you to control and organize CAP are an important member services.

CAP's emergency services program includes air and ground search and rescue, disaster relief, civil defense, as well as cooperation with and assistance to other emergency services agencies. It's primary mission is to save lives and relieve human suffering.

- Emergency Services include the following:

- Develop agreements with agencies responsible for search, domestic emergencies, and civil defense.

- Develop and maintain an adequate emergency service force.

- Develop training programs to ensure that highly qualified ES personnel are available for search and rescue missions and disaster relief missions.

- Develop plans and standard operating procedures to support the Wing's emergency services program.

- Maintain records to determine the status of resources (personnel, vehicles, aircraft, radios, and other emergency services equipment) available for ES missions.

- Develop and maintain a rapid alerting system for assembling resources in a timely manner.
