On behalf of the members of Headquarters Group 1, I would like to welcome you to our website.
I encourage you to browse through the information here to learn more about our organization and
our roles as volunteers within the community and west Texas. Group 1, is currently
comprised of nearly 300 cadet and senior members in eight Squadrons located throughout the west Texas
area.
My mission as the Group Commander is simple: to provide the best possible support to the Squadrons
and their members in accomplishing the missions of Civil Air Patrol.
The Squadrons are the basic building blocks of CAP-it's where the majority of activity takes place.
