This is a time of great change for Civil Air Patrol – at all levels. We’re learning to do more with less. There will be a drawn-down of aircraft (precipitated by NHQ in a cost-cutting effort) that will probably allow Texas Wing to get rid of two aircraft that spend a great deal of time in maintenance. No real loss there. When it actually happens we will move aircraft around to fill in these gaps but we will also learn to bring in aircraft from other Wings when we have the mission critical need to do so. We will adapt.

2013 Texas Wing Cadet Conference
